UNBEATEN RISING STARS FRANKIE GOMEZ, RANDY CABALLERO AND ANTONIO OROZCO IN ACTION
LOS ANGELES – The stage is set for a night of hard-hitting boxing action at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. as young fistic phenoms Frankie Gomez, Randy Caballero and Antonio Orozco, along with some of Southern California’s most exciting young talents, prepare for key bouts on Friday, July 1.
In the main event, which will be televised on TeleFutura’s “Sólo Boxeo Tecate,” East Los Angeles’ Frankie Gomez (9-0, 7 KO’s) takes on Hesperia’s Khadaphi Proctor (7-5-1) in an eight round junior welterweight bout. The co-featured bout of the evening will see Coachella Valley favorite Randy Caballero (11-0, 7 KO’s) in search of his sixth consecutive win in at Fantasy Springs when he faces fellow unbeaten Alexis Santiago (7-0-1, 2 KO’s) of Phoenix, Arizona in an eight round fight for the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental super bantamweight title.
Also featured will be San Diego junior welterweight standout Antonio Orozco (10-0, 7 KO’s) who will risk his perfect record against Joshua Beeman (4-9-2, 2 KO’s) of Providence, Rhode Island.
This night of world-class professional boxing is presented by Golden Boy Promotions and is sponsored by Cerveza Tecate, AT&T and DeWalt. Doors open at 6:00pm PT on fight night and the first bell rings at 7:30pm PT. The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 11:30pm ET / PT (10:30pm CT).

Also in action on July 1, Indio’s Eduardo Vasquez (4-0, 2 KO’s) collides with San Bernardino’s Juan Sandoval (4-6-1, 3 KO’s) in a six round featherweight bout, debuting Coachella junior welterweight Guadalupe Salcido battles Lindsay, California’s Stephen Rubalcava (0-4) in a four round fight and female flyweights Seniesa Estrada (1-0) of Los Angeles and Blanca Raymundo (0-3) of Riverside meet in a four round contest.
