CARINA “LA REINA” MORENO CAMP NOTES
Watsonville California – Entering the final week of training camp, Carina “La Reina” Moreno is eager to showcase her skills when she steps in the ring against Chantel Cordova on August 27th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.
“Training camp has been hard but going as planned,” said former four-time world champion Moreno. “I don’t know much about Cordova except that she has a winning record and she comes to fight. I’ve been training with Eloy Perez and Team Garcia as they’ve been helping me get ready for this fight. I’m coming to win and my fans will get to see me fight close to home in San Jose. I can’t wait!”
Trainer Rick Noble went on to say. “Carina is looking sharp in sparring. We’ve switched up a few things that I believe will make a difference in this fight. Cordova is a tall fighter and adjustments need to be made. I feel confident that Carina will be ready to go on fight night.”
