Hackensack, NJ – Fast rising prospect Bobby Gunn Jr. continued his path of destruction last Saturday at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, NJ, taking out Christopher Strootman in 129 seconds.
After briefly feeling his opponent out, Gunn Jr. decked Strootman with a crisp overhand right. Moments later, the Hackensack native ended his Garden State debut in impressive fashion, sending his foe home early by landing a vicious left hook to the body. Referee David Fields immediately waved the bout off as the pro-Gunn crowd cheered their fighter on.
“I had a lot of friends, fans and family at this fight so this win is something I’ll remember for a very long time” Gunn Jr., who is now 3-0 with all first round knockouts, stated. “I’m very happy with the way this fight ended and I’m a Jersey boy so I plan to fight here again soon.”
Quickly becoming the busiest fighter in the Northeast, Junior guns for win number four June 14 at the ABC Auditorium in Annandale, VA.
