ONE Championship Is Showcasing The Full Spectrum Of Martial Arts
For the second U.S. primetime event in a row, ONE Fight Night 21 will feature matches across the promotion’s four leading combat sports – MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling. Plus, two World Title bouts top the bill.
The Battle Of The Streaks Headlines ONE Fight Night 21
In the main event for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title, two-sport king Regian Eersel will defend his gold against Alexis Nicolas. This is truly a matchup between “the immovable object” and “the unstoppable force.” Eersel finds himself on a 22-bout winning streak, which makes him the ONE World Champion with the longest active winning streak. Meanwhile, Nicolas is undefeated at a pristine 23-0. By the end of ONE Fight Night 21, one dazzling streak will be destroyed while one will carry on.
The Ruotolos Are Back And Competing On The Same Card
For the first time since December 2022, ONE’s resident World Champion siblings Tye & Kade Ruotolo will compete at the same event! Tye is scheduled to defend the ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Title against Aussie sensation Izaak Michell, a man he has been calling out for several months. And Kade, who holds the ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Championship, is embracing a new challenge, as he welcomes dangerous welterweight Francisco Lo to ONE in a catchweight matchup.
An MMA-Heavy Bout Card For U.S. Primetime
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said MMA will be “back in full force” in 2024, and he is living up to those words with ONE Fight Night 21. Almost half of the ONE Fight Night 21 card will feature MMA bouts, including Ben Tynan vs. Duke Didier, Hiroyuki Tetsuka vs. Valmir Da Silva, and Jeremy Pacatiw vs. Wang Shuo.
