The king of crossover boxing KSI is set to face Slim and Anthony Taylor on an extra-ordinary night of X Series action on August 31, live on DAZN.
KSI returns to the ring ready to face his fierce rivals at the 3Arena in Dublin, taking the world-famous X Series to Ireland for the very first time.
August 31 will mark the two-year anniversary of Misfits Boxing’s first ever event and KSI plans on making it a party to remember after challenging both Slim and Taylor to a jaw-dropping 2 vs 1 showdown.
As part of an incredible card in the Irish capital, Deen The Great puts his MFB Lightweight Championship on the line against hometown favourite Fogarty, Danny Aarons and Beavo collide in a battle of two gigantic social media stars, and X Series 17 will also see not one, but two Cruiserweight Tournament quarter-final contests, as DTG tackles Minikon before Jake Cornish and Mike Edwards lock horns.
Dublin’s Ben Williams will have a raucous crowd in his corner, when he returns to the Misfits Boxing ring to face Warren Spencer, Sami Hamed, the son of legendary fighter Prince Naseem Hamed, takes on Jesse Clarke, while Gabriel Silva goes toe-to-toe with Wedi.
KSI said: “I can’t tell you how pleased I am that both Slim and Anthony Taylor accepted this challenge, because I wasn’t sure they had the minerals to do so.
“Both of these guys have been on my case for years and now, on August 31 in Dublin, they are set to get what they asked for.”
Mams Taylor, Co-President of Misfits Boxing, said: “Dublin, hold onto your hats because the X Series is coming in a big way on August 31!
“KSI is always ready to face anyone but this summer, on the two-year anniversary of Misfits Boxing, he’s ready to take it to the next level.
“What a main event we have in store, but this is a card that is overflowing with amazing matchups and fights that have ‘classic’ written all over them.
“See you there!”
Kalle Sauerland, Co-President of Misfits Boxing, said: “There is nothing as special as a KSI fight night in the world of the X Series.
“As soon as KSI announced that he was returning to the ring, the internet went wild with excitement and by the time we get to that opening bell on August 31, the atmosphere will be spine-tingling.
“We can’t wait to finally take the X Series to Dublin and put on a show for the fans in Ireland – and what a show we have in store.
“This event will be the hottest ticket in Dublin!”
“We are incredibly excited to have KSI back fighting on DAZN,” said Alfie Sharman, VP DAZN.
“It’s two years since our very first show with KSI and team and look how far we have come! An incredible two years of blockbuster matchups, drama and innovations that have made Misfits one of the most talked about promotions in the world. We cannot wait for this night of action, live and only on DAZN.”
