YOUNGEST UNDISPUTED WORLD CHAMPION GABRIELA “SWEET POISON” FUNDORA TO DEFEND WORLD TITLES AGAINST MARILYN BADILLO IN HER FIRST-EVER HEADLINING EVENT

OCEANSIDE, Calif.  – The world’s youngest undisputed world champion, Gabriela “Sweet Poison” Fundora (15-0, 7 KOs) of Coachella Valley, will defend her WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF, and Ring Magazine world championship belts against No. 1 IBF-ranked contender Marilyn “La Mexicana” Badillo (19-0-1, 3 KOs) of Cuautitlán, Mexico. The 10-round main event, co-promoted with Sampson Boxing, marks Fundora’s first headlining appearance as she leads the charge in a new era of women’s boxing. This highly anticipated bout is set for Saturday, April 19, at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside and will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN.

In a showdown featuring two of the best in the division, undefeated and No. 2-ranked Charles “Bad News” Conwell (21-0, 16 KOs), of Cleveland, is set to clash with No. 4-ranked and former world champion Jorge “Chino” Garcia Perez (32-4, 26 KOs), of Sinaloa, Mexico, in a high-stakes, 12-round, super welterweight battle. The bout is presented in association with Zanfer Boxing. With both fighters known for their explosive power and relentless style, fans can expect a war inside the ring.

Tickets for Conwell vs. Garcia will go on sale at noon PT on Friday, March 28 and are priced at $100, $75, and $25, not including applicable service charges. A limited number of Golden Boy VIP Experience tickets will also be available for purchase with exclusive merchandise and fight night upgrades included.
