Costa Mesa, CA: Before the biggest crowd in the 14 year history of Fight Club OC shows, 1,513 fans watched The Next American Champion, super welterweight Jordan Panthen do to Victor Toney, what Sebastian Fundora couldn’t do, what Troy Isley couldn’t do, and what Jahyae Brown couldn’t do, knock out top prospect Victor Toney last night in Costa Mesa, CA.
Upping his record to 9-0, Panthen sent Toney flying to the canvas with a tremendous left hook at 1:03 of the 3rd round and with it scored his 8th knockout win in nine fights.
The seven bout card also saw KO wins for light heavyweight Javier Cerna, lightweight Adam Garcia, and super lightweight Billy Jamel Timmons. Boyle Heights’ Dorian Mendez, despite being cut in the second round scored a tough UD over tough Raymond Benavides, and Eduardo Sanchez and Julian Baez both scored hard fought majority decision wins.
The next Fight Club OC show is set for Thursday, August 29th, 2024.
