ORLANDO, FL (September 3, 2024) – John Bauza (18-1, 8 KOs), the seasoned super lightweight contender from Universal Promotions, has completed his training camp as he prepares to face Boxlab Promotions’ undefeated rising star Kevin Brown (5-0, 3 KOs) for the WBA Super Lightweight Continental Americas title. The highly anticipated 10-round bout will take place this Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL, as part of MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 8 card, broadcast live globally on DAZN. Bauza, who has been putting in intense work during his training camp, is eager to showcase his skills and experience in this pivotal matchup.
“This camp has been one of the best of my career,” said Bauza, who hails from North Bergen, New Jersey by way of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. “I’ve pushed myself harder than ever before, and I’m in peak condition. I’m ready to go out there and show everyone what I’m capable of. Kevin Brown is a talented fighter, but I’ve been in the ring with tougher competition.
