LAS VEGAS — Top Rank, the worldwide leader in boxing promotion, and Roku, the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., have launched Top Rank Classics, a 24/7 channel devoted to the sport’s most memorable showdowns and the fighters that made them possible.
Top Rank Classics premieres on The Roku Channel today and features a star-studded lineup of Hall of Famers and fistic icons, including Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar De La Hoya, and Sugar Ray Leonard.
“Top Rank’s library of content is second to none among combat sports brands,” said Brian Kelly, Top Rank’s Chief Revenue Officer. “We are proud to partner with Roku to create a 24/7 content home that showcases the sport’s all-time greats and future legends.”
Top Rank Classics debuts with several weeks of programming, including the three-round classic between Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Thomas Hearns, the Marco Antonio Barrera-Erik Morales trilogy, Evander Holyfield’s heavyweight gut check against George Foreman, and the 1999 Fight of the Year between Paulie Ayala and Johnny Tapia. The lineup of fights will be updated to reflect Top Rank’s roster of stars, a group of mega-talents that includes Naoya Inoue, Keyshawn Davis, Emanuel Navarrete, Teofimo Lopez, Mikaela Mayer, and Rafael Espinoza.
