(August 24, 2010) – Current WIBA and IFBA flyweight champion, Carina “La Reina” Moreno, was invited to speak at the Santa Cruz County juvenal hall last week.  Moreno touched on the importance of education and hard work.

“When ever I have a platform to speak to kids I have to take advantage of the opportunity,” said Moreno “These kids come from broken homes and need a push in a positive direction.  If I can get through to at least one of kid,  and uplift him with some words of wisdom, then its all worth it.”

Moreno looks to get back in the ring before the end of the year against an opponent to be later announced.
