SHANE MOSLEY JR. MAKES HIS “FIGHT NIGHT CLUB” DEBUT
LOS ANGELES – When boxing superstar Sugar Shane Mosley takes his seat at L.A. LIVE’s Club Nokia for the October 28 edition of “Fight Night Club” it won’t be just as a fan, but also as a father, as his son Shane Mosley Jr. will be competing that night in an amateur bout on the action packed card headlined by Undefeated Gary Russell Jr.’s bout against Guadalupe De Leon.
The 19-year-old Mosley, who will compete in a junior middleweight fight against Ivan Lazaro of Carson, Calif., has already garnered rave reviews for his talent and poise in the ring. Couple that with the experience he has gained as a regular member of his father’s training team, and it’s easy to see why big things are expected from the younger Mosley in the coming years.

The first 100 fans to arrive dressed in a Halloween costume for the October 28 edition of Fight Night Club will be admitted free of charge. “Fight Night Club,” is Golden Boy Promotions’ and AEG’s critically acclaimed live monthly boxing series, that presents boxing in a night club atmosphere, with a DJ, music, great food and a VIP room, as well as a unique setup where the ring is on Club Nokia’s stage with standing room for fans in front of the ring, as well as reserved seating in the balcony. After the boxing action ends, fans are invited to stay to hear great music played by LA’s hottest DJ’s, dance and mingle with the fighters as the venue converts back into a night club.
